i just came back from catching a preview screening of I Am Legend. 1st thing i thought was the novel's plot (which i read at wikipedia) would've been better.
this movie just made the monsters appear as savage, blood thirsty monsters. according to the book, they were much more than that. they were vampiric (due to the virus), had intelligence and even made their own new society. not these cross breeds of zombies from 28 Days Later and Imhotep from The Mummy movies.
the movie's plot could've been better if only Will Smith went ape shit more, u know, what with him thinking he was the last man on earth. he could've been more paranoid/neurotic/schizo like Brad Pitt in 12 Monkeys (yeah, BP was the bomb in that movie!). the book (according to wikipedia again) focused much on the protagonist's psychological on-goings. the movie didn't do enough of this, as if it's not already bad enough that they got the monsters wrong.
of coz if it took on the book's plot, the ending would've been so much more darker but in terms of cinematic finales, i think it would've been so much more magnifico!

how does a man change himself when his spirit is broken? and can you fix a person's spirit? u can mend a person's heart, with love & time, but how do u fix the spirit?
i understand now why ppl resort to takin their own lives. they must've reached an extent where they can't see any way or has ran out of strength to escape from themselves anymore.
a quote from Lao Tzu, "He who conquers others is strong; He who conquers himself is mighty." doesn't sounds very dramatic or powerful. lemme try to rephrase it abit.
"To conquer someone is strength but to conquer one self is absolute power."
hell yeah! fuck the strength, i want absolute power!

well i actually did this quiz back in august but since the movie is out now, i tot i'll post it up again for fun. i've seen the movie. it's pretty enjoyable. thus rises another Dakota that'll give the other Dakota a run for her money.
so this is my daemon. hmm, i tot it was a crow. still, a sparrow ain't bad. she's small thus she can get around easily. n i can send her to scout high & ahead for me on things...that might need scouting...like...if there's a police roadblock ahead when i'm DUI. imagine if i have a tiger daemon, damn, htf she gonna fit in my small Kenari?! lol!

you know that feeling when u really want something but u could not afford it? it's like being oppressed by dictators. that dictators being MONEY! or the lack of it.
i'm dying for a new CPU. my current rig's already 6 years old. in the computer world, that's like about 9123847197419 years old. IT'S OBSOLETE! i can't play Hitman: Blood Money on it n it's irritating me!
it's kinda sad that i work 5 and 1/2 days a week for 2 years, never cheating MCs, never saja-saja take leaves and i still have no money. makes me think wtf i'm doin it all for.
dear Santa, X'mas is coming. i've been a good boy all my life, no? and i've never asked a thing from you all my life. but now, i want to ask for something. i'd like to have a new CPU, one of gaming performance if can. if cannot, then make it mid range only la. better than nothing. lol!
